Nestled in the Upstate of South Carolina, Mauldin is surrounded by the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains. Location

Greer is located in Greenville county, in the Northwest corner of South Carolina, conveniently located between Atlanta, Georgia and Charlotte, North Carolina. The area, commonly referred to as the Upstate, includes Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Pickens, and Cherokee counties and the cities of Anderson, Clemson, Greenville, Simpsonville, Greer, and Spartanburg.

Greenville County is South Carolina's most populated counties with more than 470,000 residents. Approximately 25,135 live within Mauldin’s city limits.

Mauldin’s moderate climate offers a full change of seasons, an average annual temperature of 65° F, and mild weather throughout most of the year. July is typically the warmest month and on average, January is the coolest. Greenville has milder summers when compared to other areas of the south.

Mauldin Middle, Bethel Elementary, and Mauldin Elementary have all recently been recognized as a Red Carpet School. Greenlink: Greenlink has numerous stops across Mauldin. All Greenlink buses are wheelchair accessible, and each is equipped with a bike rack. The Greenlink system also features GAP, an ADA paratransit service provided for individuals who are unable to use Greenlink's fixed route bus service.

Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP): Located just 20 minutes from Mauldin, GSP has been rated one of the most desirable airports in the country in terms of convenience, easy access, smaller crowds, and nearby parking. More than 1.8 million passengers a year are served by six major airlines offering 49 non-stop average daily departures to 15 major cities and 18 airports across the US.

Recreation (Indoor & Outdoor)

The Mauldin Recreation program is open to youth and seniors alike. Join a sport, or head over to the Mauldin Sports Center for their state of the art fitness equipment, rock wall, gymnasium, aerobics room, and more! Visit one of Mauldin’s four parks that cover over 70 acres: Sunset Park, Springfield Park, City Park and Pineforest Park. Mauldin is close to the Blue Ridge Mountains and Lake Conestee for hiking, biking, fishing, and other natural activities.

 

Bike-Friendly

Mauldin connects to The Swamp Rabbit Trail, an almost 20 mile walking, running, biking trail, in Conestee Park which is just outside of Mauldin.

 

Arts & Entertainment

Experience the arts through the Mauldin Cultural Center. Take a class or watch a show, or experience live performances and annual festivals at the Mauldin Outdoor Amphitheatre.
