Nestled in the Upstate of South Carolina, Fountain Inn is surrounded by the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains. Fountain Inn received its name from an old inn with a fountain where weary travelers would stop to rest on their journeys. In 1960, the city earned the nickname The Diamond Tip of the Golden Strip, but also is referred to as the Front Porch of the Upstate. Fountain Inn boasts of being the perfect family friendly city, with their charming city, friendly residents, and beautiful scenery.  



Easley is located in both Greenville and Laurens counties, in the Northwest corner of South Carolina, conveniently located between Atlanta, Georgia and Charlotte, North Carolina. The area, commonly referred to as the Upstate, includes Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Pickens, and Cherokee counties and the cities of Anderson, Clemson, Greenville, Simpsonville, Greer, and Spartanburg.

The majority of Fountain Inn is located in Greenville County, with only the southern part of the city in Laurens County. With a population of 7,799, Fountain Inn is a cozy, charming city.

There is no public transportation for Fountain Inn.
